Household waste

BOA and household waste

The composition of household varies per country, per region and even per season. In view of the internationalisation of the waste industry, the need for solutions with greater flexibility has increased. BOA offers these solutions. With process technology-based installations offering specific waste feature components, BOA is a key player in the field of solutions for the waste industry.
Despite the many variations possible, the treatment of household waste always goes through a number of steps that yields the following fractions:

1. Organic fraction -> further treatment possible by means of compositing and/or glass separation.
2. (High) caloric fraction -> combustible fraction (RDF)
3. Ferro’s -> valuable metal fraction
4. Non Ferro’s -> valuable fraction
5. Rest waste -> landfill

Depending on your waste and specific preferences BOA can design a solution to your specific situation. Many components are made in house by BOA so that we can really finetune the different components to make one optimal line. Part of the BOA components are: bunker systems; walking floors; bagopeners; plate conveyors; rubber belt conveyors; chain conveyors; picking stations and balers.
