BOA and packaging waste

Packaging waste is characterised by the great diversity of materials that occur. The goal is always to achieve an end product, as pure and as valuable as possible. Because the value may vary strongly the solution ought to be flexible so that the best price for the end material will be obtained.

There are different methods for segregation: from manual to fully automated segregation. All solutions must be flexible and easy to clean. Depending on the customer’s situation we use our own or third party products, to make sure the customer has the perfect solution.

Depending on input, the following fractions are to be distinguished:

• Fines
• Metals (ferro/non ferro)
• Flat plastics: Foils, etc.
• ‘3D plastics’: PET / LPDE / etc
• Paper
• Cardboard

To find the best solutions BOA uses sieve technics, ballistic segregation, and air separation. Transporting solutions and bale presses will complete the line.
